For years now I have been finding ways to save money on groceries. I have it that the food we eat may as well be our medicine. I mean, if we are going to pay to care for our health, we might as well do it on the side of being proactive instead of on the reactive side.
As I was meeting with a client today for Nutrition Response Testing, I really got that it’s taken me 9 years ( our oldest is 9) to really hone in on the resources, money and time saving ways to provide our family with really good food at a really good price (like around $450/month for 4 people on whole foods). I remember once around 6 years ago an acquaintance saying that there is no way a family can budget for whole foods and right away I felt a kick in the gut, because, for our family, there was no other way to do it but budget, and I think that’s the reality for most families.
I’ve been working on a product that I’m sooo excited to unveil to you ( March 1st is the date, and my friends, I share this with you to hold my little bum accountable to it!). BUT, I would love to get some feedback from those of you who want to know how I pull it off every month. There was a month a couple of years ago that I did it in $325-no kidding. It wasn’t easy, but it gave me peace of mind that I could do it again if I needed to.
