I have some really important news to share.
Two days ago I spoke at a Health Conference that has me reeling from the mind-blowing information that was shared with attendees.
You know, there are conferences (boring, thumb-twiddling, you get the picture), and then there are Conferences (life altering, inspiring, AWEsome, engaging). This conference was the latter.
In the past couple of weeks, it’s come to my attention that there is even more we can do to support the health of our loved ones. I know, before you roll your eyes, consider this for a moment. (I’m going to swipe a statistic from one of the event speakers as it grabbed my heart.) I’m going to share my age here as an example. If the average life expectancy is 78 years old, and I am 36, did you know that I only have 2,184 weekends left to live?
If you’re 45 years old, you only have something like 1700 weekends left to live. Let that sink in for a second. Is that enough weekends on the lake or up at the cabin? Is that enough time with your children?
What if I told you that most autoimmune disorders, degenerative disease, or other chronic illnesses (chronic being a pain or ailment that’s gone on for more than a couple months) could be reversed by simply making a lifestyle change?
What if I told you how much of this has to do with the food we eat?
What if those chronic ear infections are a result of eating too much xyz, or the behavior problems your child is having at school or attention and focus issues at home were the result of not enough of a particular nutrient?
There has never been a better time, my friends, to take a good hard look at what nutrients ARE and AREN’T getting into our bodies.
